Abstract

Another dam broke in Minas Gerais, three years after Mariana's tragedy, and this time, despite the environmental impact being smaller, human losses will be greater. The dam at the Vale mine in Brumadinho collapsed, dumping mud and debris into the company's administrative area, causing deaths and destruction, reaching homes and inns, as well as rural areas.
